Seasonal Visitor Wardens 2023

The season has drawn to a close and it’s time to have a look at how things have gone this summer. This is the third season that we have managed to secure funding for Wardens. This year it was the combined efforts of community landowners in Lewis and Harris, co-ordinated by Community Land Outer Hebrides, that made it happen. Despite the huge geography that Claire and Iain had to cover, they made regular trips to Harris’ hot spots to engage with visitors. Read the full end of year report at:
I really enjoyed reading about the season’s success and the teamwork behind securing funding for the Wardens program. It’s inspiring to see how Claire and Iain covered such a wide area while still making time to connect with visitors in Harris. I think community-led efforts like this make a real difference, and the dedication mentioned here reminds me of the energy and persistence needed to win in Ragdoll Hit. I’d definitely be interested in reading the full end of year report.
