Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the North Harris Trust will take place on Monday 22nd April 2024, beginning at 7:30pm in the Harris Hotel. All are most welcome.
The meeting agenda, draft annual accounts, annual report, and draft 2023 AGM minutes, will be made available to all Trust Members on request from Monday 1st April 2024. Please get in touch to receive a copy of these documents. Questions from Trust Members on the draft annual accounts are welcomed ahead of the AGM to allow the auditor time to prepare a complete answer, ideally these should be submitted by Monday 15th April.
There are four vacancies on the Trust Board of Directors, representing the township areas of Tarbert, Urgha-Carragreich, Kyles Scalpay, and Scalpay. Please get in touch for a nomination form if you think you might be interested in standing as a volunteer Director for any of these areas. If you would like to have an informal chat to find out a bit more about what becoming a North Harris Trust Director involves, an open day will be held 10am - 4pm on Friday 12th April at Tigh an Urrais, all are welcome.
Formal AGM business will be followed by a short presentation and an opportunity for discussion, please consider taking the time to come along. Tea, coffee and shortbread will be provided.
Note that the Annual General Meeting of the North Harris Trading Company is also scheduled for the evening of Monday 22nd April 2024, at 6:30pm in Tigh an Urrais. All are welcome.
