Work has started on the Eagle hide at Glen Meavaig. In a stunning location, a couple of kilometres up the track at Gen Meavaig, men are hard at work constructing the hide. The unique design incorporates plenty of glass to see the tops of the ridges that dominate this valley. It will have a panoramic view up the valley to the north. In the short time we visited the site, a Golden Eagle soaring above us confirmed that this was the perfect site for the hide. This project is being delivered with help from Browne Forbes Memorial Trust along with SNH and LEADER.
