We Need Your Support
The
people of North Harris, were presented with a once in a lifetime opportunity to
purchase the land on which they live and work.
When the 55,000-acre North Harris Estate was placed on
the market in April 2002 our community was successful in a bid to become
custodian of this wild and beautiful area of the Western Isles of Scotland.
We
are confident that through direct ownership we can develop and safeguard our
rich natural and cultural heritage for the benefit of the community and future
generations.
Our ambition became a reality. We have launched an
appeal to raise £100,000 towards purchase and management of the land. Every £1
we receive takes us a step nearer our target.
