The Board of the Trust decided to concentrate initially on developing eight main projects that were identified in the feasability study delivered in the previous year.

A full-time project officer and part-time administrator - posts funded for three years by the Community Land Unit of Highlands and Islands Enterprise - were appointed, and began work in May 2003
