Loch Seaforth Estate In 2004 the people in the three townships, Scaladale, Maraig and Rhenigidale decided that it would be feasible to purchase their estate and to that end a steering group was set up. The steering committee approached the North Harris Trust to make the purchase on their behalf and in the event of success that Loch Seaforth Estate would merge as part of the North Harris Trust. So after months of dealys, the purchase of 7,500 acres of Loch Seaforth Estate finally became a reality on 23rd February 2006. |
