The North Harris Trust aims to manage, develop and conserve the assets of North Harris in a sustainable manner for the benefit of the community and the enjoyment of the wider public. Key Objectives are:

• To keep North Harris wild and beautiful by safeguarding and enhancing the natural heritage.
• To formulate a strategy for development with the full participation of the local community, in an effort to reverse population decline.
• To work with partners in order to meet the needs, hopes and aspirations of the community.
• To facilitate enjoyment of, and promote understanding and appreciation of, the outstanding landscape and natural and cultural heritage of North Harris.
