Zero Carbon business Units – Oban, Tarbert
Whilst we are still waiting for the planning permission to arrive, work has started on sourcing the funds to move the project forward. We have recently received fee quotes from the Architect, Structural Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, Landscape Architect and the CDM Supervisor. Who would have thought you need so many specialists?
Our Stage 1 application to the Big Lottery’s Growing Community Assets Fund is now complete. We are applying for nearly a quarter of a million pounds – half the money needed to complete three on the units. For those of you that have been involved in these sort of applications, you’ll know what a long process it is.
Anyway, now we have to look for the other half of the costs – any ideas anyone?
